Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to join our team in Slovakia.

Your main responsibilities

• Applying DevOps methodology and improving internal routines and procedures
• Operating applications running on the UNIQA data platform and performing systems engineering tasks
• Running applications, jobs and resolving tasks based on business or project requests for Enterprise Data Use Cases (on-premise/cloud)
• Development of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) artifacts, CICD and end-2-end automation solutions (Gitlab CI)
• Ensure that all tasks and change status in JIRA are successfully maintained and processed
• Mentoring less experienced colleagues and knowledge sharing with the team
• Prepration of technical documentation and standards
• Support Solutions architect with Infrastructure topic expertise
• Performing other tasks appropriate to the position and type of work as directed by your supervisor

Salary from 2800 EUR, including 13th and 14th salary. Salary depends on candidate's experience.

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

• Strong background in Linux administration
• Strong background in Network administration
• Expert knowledge and experience with Docker container technologies
• Strong experience with Azure Cloud
• Strong experience with Terraform
• Experience with Gitlab CI and/or Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions
• Familiarity with wide variety of open-source technologies
• Solid experience as a DevOps Engineer with strong focus on automation
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex infrastructure, platform and application
incidents
• Solid knowledge of GitLab administration
• Experienced usage of system monitoring/logging/metrics & creation of dashboards
(Dynatrace, Grafana, Splunk)
• Experience with security topics like patching, system updates and handling of vulnerabilities
• Experience with Agile Software Development
• Experience with working in a Scrum team

• Ability to work in complex international environment with multiple stakeholders
