Junior DevOps Engineer (Terraform@AWS)

The position is based in Slovak Republic. Applicants must have a place of work in Slovakia.

What to expect

- Modifying/development of IaC (Infrastructure as Code) in Terraform on AWS
- Modifying/development of CI/CD pipelines in GitLabCI (yml)
- Development and operations of cloud projects based on containers, Lambda and other AWS services (secrets, storage, network…)
- Incident & problem management as part of cross functional Scrum team
- Development and operations of monitoring/alerting solutions
- Cooperation/learning from/ other DevOps Engineers on common code and solutions
- Python and Bash scripting

We expect

- Knowledge and experience with AWS (basic level)
- Knowledge and experience with Linux container technologies (basic level)
- Knowledge of version control Git (basic level)
- Knowledge of infrastructure provisioning as code (IaC) Terraform is advantage
- Experience of creating pipelines GitLabCI is advantage
- Will to learn new concepts/things and share it with the team
- Team Player mentality: We can count on you
- Proactive mindset
- Fluent communication in English
- Cross-disciplinary/JAVA is warmly welcomed

Nice to have

- Knowledge/administration GitLab
- Experience with system monitoring/logging/tracing/alerting/metrics & creation of dashboards (Dynatrace, Splunk, SonarCube)
