Job description

The position is based in the Slovak Republic. You will be working in the role of a Scrum Master, on a self-care software solution for insurance clients of our major customer in Austria.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Coaching the team in Scrum practices and values
• Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised openly.
• Responsible for team dynamics and further development of the team to strengthen quality, efficiency and effectiveness
• Guiding the team toward self-organization and cross-functional team work, fostering T shaping
• Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
• Being a supportive partner for the Product Owner and co-leading the team
• Skillful and solution-oriented moderation using a wide range of moderation and presentation techniques

University education (Bachelor's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Minimum Requirements for consideration

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience on Agile development teams
• Deep understanding of Agile development practices
• English - Upper intermediate (B2)
• Knowledge of Jira and Confluence

Additional preferred skills and experience

• Proven ability to work with diverse personality types.
• Situational awareness, experience with conflict resolution, good interpersonal communication, and facilitation skills
• Demonstrated ability to implement useful metrics to help team(s) identify opportunities for improvement.
• Oriented toward Servant Leadership, with strong focus on removing impediments
• Experience in coaching and/or mentoring
• Experience with geographically distributed teams

Nice to have

• University education (Bachelor's degree)
• Business, Computer Science or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
• At least 3 yrs. experience in software development
• German language knowledge
